British High Commissioner Hails Exploits Of Noela Lyonga Foundation

The British High Commissioner to Cameroon Sir Rowan Laxton has hailed the exploits of the Noela Lyonga Foundation.
The diplomat visited the foundation on November 7 in Buea, South West region. The afore was welcome by the assistant Executive Director of the organisation Miss Nasali Sandrine who presented the different heads of department and the volunteers who were present.
Cognizant upon the fact that Civil Society organizations play an inevitable role in development, the Noela Lyonga Foundation has been very instrumental in the domains of volunteerism, community service and improving healthy lifestyles among others.
In a bid to keep the commissioner abreast about the activities of the organization, the coordinator of the Healthy Lifestyle department did a succinct presentation as some volunteers took out time to share their experiences about their journey of volunteering with the Noela Lyonga Foundation.
Laxton appreciated the foundation and team of volunteers for the great work they have been doing to impact lives in the society amidst Socio-Economic, Political and Health challenges that our country is faced with.
He further encouraged these volunteers to remain resilient in spite the challenges. Underscored that temerity remains prime as civil society organisations are catalysts in developing the society.
As a pedagogue, Sir Laxton gave a chance for the volunteers to ask questions rendering his talk interactive. This visit came very timely to inspire the volunteers do more and remain positive to other future endeavors.
