New Taxation Era Begins In Meme Division

The new chief of taxation for Meme division, Alexander Mbeaoh has begun delivering on the assignment handed to him.
Following his tour of some services municipal authorities in Meme division have pledged their unflinching support and collaboration to work with the new taxation official. The pledge surfaced Tuesday, November 10 during separate audiences across councils in Kumba.
The audiences come as the new Taxation boss embarked on a familiarisation tour to these structures. It all began in the early hours with prayers and blessings by a Catholic Priest at the Taxation office in the Station neighbourhood of Kumba.
The priest prayed for God’s guidance and protection for the new taxation boss in the execution of his duties.
The new Chief of Taxation then proceeded to the Divisional Office where he was received by the Senior Divisional Officer, SDO for Meme division, Chamberlin Ntou’ou Ndong.
He took time to brief the Meme boss on the task assigned to him by the Minister of Finance, Louis Paul Motaze.
The SDO assured him of his total collaboration. Ntou’ou Ndong told Mbeaoh not to hesitate to get to him in case of any difficulty.
After his audience with the SDO, the taxation chief visited Mbonge, Konye, kumba I, II and III Councils were he was heartily welcome.
In the various councils , a new dawn seems to be in the offing as commitment was made to work in close ranks. The new Taxation boss is expected to reverse the dwindling trend in the collection of State revenue greatly affected by the ongoing socio-political crisis in the North West and South West regions of the country.
A seasoned Tax Inspector and die-hard supporter of the CPDM Party, the new Chief of Taxation, Alexander Mbeaoh, before his appointment was the Tax Revenue Collector for Small and Medium- sized Taxpayers office in Limbe.
He takes over from Guilliaume Nititop Tsafack, who has been called to other duties.
Many taxpayers who are familiar with him when he first worked here in Meme in a different capacity have applauded his appointment.
