Kumba School Attack:

Parents Of Child Killed In Massacre Ordained Pastors

Story, Prince Oben

The Parents  of one of the children killed in the October 24, 2020 school massacre in Kumba, Meme division, South West region have been ordained pastors.

The duo, father and mother to Victory Ngamenyi who died in that  attack, were ordained  Reverend Pastor and Pastor respectively.

Pastor Boniface Ngamenyi, Founder of Word Restoration Ministry International a.k.a Restoration House Kumba, was ordained on Saturday, December 19, during a service at the Church House on Farm Road Street, Fiango.

The ritual was conducted by a college of clergy led by Reverend Dr Bobbs Lyonga, his Spiritual father, who was a Guest Speaker.

Thus, Pastor Boniface Ngamenyi now becomes Reverend  Boniface Ngamenyi, with a call to wholeheartedly lead God’s people.

His wife, was commissioned during the same ceremony as a Pastor and enjoined to fully assist the husband in the Ministry’s divine mission on earth.

The ordination and commissioning exercise comes at the end of a four day gospel crusade from December 15-18, at the Church premises to mark the third anniversary of the existence of the  Church.

Reverend Dr Bobbs Lyonga, stated the challenges that await the couple in the leading God’s people but prayed that they should not give up but rather to be steadfast in their endeavours.

He equally called on the Christians to support their Pastors as they engaged in the daunting task to spread the gospel of Christ. The ordination and commissioning exercise took place close to two months after their son, Victory Ngamenyi, was murdered alongside his Peers at the Mother Francisca International Academy, Bamilike street in Fiango, by suspected separatist fighters on Saturday, October 24, this year.

The act received worldwide condemnation. Continuous support has remained pouring in from home and abroad to the affected families of what has become known as the Kumba School massacre.

Some suspects were later neutralized and others in custody . The Proprietress and the husband of the School alongside some teachers are still in custody helping Security Operatives in their investigation.
